We’re growing and looking for a smart, driven and creative Account Services Coordinator & Content Writer. The ideal team member would bring agency level experience with excellent project management and people skills. The account coordinator acts as a link between BMG Account Managers, clients and the agency and is responsible for coordinating marketing/advertising campaigns, both traditional and digital, and communicating clearly to all those involved. This team member would be someone who understands all of the major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Snap Chat) and how they integrate into marketing. This person would have a strong understanding of building a social media community and how to grow a social media presence and engage with page followers. This candidate would be someone who is confident in researching, brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into copy for articles, advertisements, print publications, and all other marketing and branding communications including social media posts, blogs, website content, and more for our clients in various industries. A strong writing background is required. This candidate will need to take direction in both written and spoken forms and convert them into written material. This person should also understand how the major search engines work and what people are searching for when they visit client websites.

The ideal candidate has basic knowledge and experience in the areas of digital, social, web, SEO landscapes, PPC, and traditional marketing as well as experience working in a fast-paced agency environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing engaging content for blogs and website projects, monitoring and posting on blogs and social networks, optimizing our company website and conducting keyword analysis. You’ll be responsible for working with accounts big and small, locally and nationally who have purchased our marketing services.

Account Services Coordinator:

  • Coordinates project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope along with submitting project deliverables and ensure clients’ expectations are met.
  • Create and adhere to timelines that manage expectations of client and give BMG planning guidance.
  • Develop and update project plans for projects including information such as project objectives, Design, Web deliverables etc.
  • Collaborate with BMG staff to integrate marketing strategies across multiple sales channels.
  • Confer and advise client of project progress and identify any issues from Client prospective that would be pertinent.
  • Reporting collect and analyze metrics, such as # of leads, cost per lead, etc.  Offer solutions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Proofing projects in print, digital and web.
  • Facilitate edits and changes in Word Press or other similar platforms, print ads using InDesign, Photoshop. Etc.
  • Support BMG AM team and clients with website builds, gathering client information, content, etc.
  • Research client competition for new ideas/technology, look for opportunities to do things better.
  • Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, working with clients, company officials, sales departments and advertising agencies.
  • Confer with clients to provide marketing or technical advice.
  • Confer with account manager personnel to identify and resolve problems.
  • Writing assist with high level input for social/blog topics

 

Content Writer:

 

  • Write about a variety of different topics as they relate to a number of different industries and audiences
  • Turn complex information into easy-to-understand content so that the intended audience can relate quickly
  • Create content to be repurposed for websites, blogs, news articles, landing pages, newsletters, press releases, sales collateral, social media posts and more
  • Proofread material for grammar, formatting consistencies and other accuracies
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Develop engaging content for social media on a weekly and monthly basis for company brands including Big Marlin Group’s
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages the target audience to act
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content and digital footprint
  • Create and Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information to develop more effective campaigns
  • Provide recommendations to team to further grow social media and web audiences
  • Collaborate with other departments (account managers, creative teams, interns, and sales) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
  • Participate in team and client meetings
  • Complete Certifications for the Google Ad Networks and become proficient in SEO and Facebook Advertising.
  • Work with Account Services Team and clients to define social media and digital advertising plan and objectives.
  • Coordinate Social Media and Digital projects/campaigns to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope along with submitting project deliverables and ensure clients’ expectations are met.
  • Collect and analyze Web metrics, such as visits, time on site, page views per visit, transaction volume and revenue, traffic mix, click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, or cost per click.
  • Combine secondary data sources with keyword research to more accurately profile and satisfy user intent.
  • Communicate and collaborate with merchants, Webmasters, bloggers, or online editors to strategically place hyperlinks.
  • Conduct market research analysis to identify search query trends & keywords, real-time search and news media activity, popular social media topics, electronic commerce trends, market opportunities, or competitor performance.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Minimum education of Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or closely related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year in account service in an advertising agency or similar environment
  • Google Ads Certified or willing to do so
  • Highly organized and able to effectively handle multiple tasks, details and demands simultaneously
  • Willingness to support other account executives & managers, traffic, production and creative as the needs arise in real time
  • Demonstrate ability to translate conceptual ideas and complex client feedback into coherent and actionable creative requests
  • Strong written and oral communications skills and ability to comprehend technical products
  • Strong client service mindset
  • Keen eye for details, must be excellent at proofing
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to keep both internal and external team members on task
  • Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat for proofing
